About the Aarti:

Aartis are performed twice a day throughout the year at 06.00 AM and 06.00 PM for a duration of 15 minutes.

The priest performs the Deepa Aradhana (showing lamps lit with wicks) for the idol of Sriguru Babaji, the Sri Yantra, the Padhukas and the portrait of Maheshwarnath Babaji.

Bells are rung amidst the beating of the Damru, while the priest chants mantras to invoke the blessings of th e divine on behalf of all the devotees.

The Seva is concluded by playing the Ananta Rupini song, after which devotees can circumambulate the idol of Sri Guru Babaji and partake of the consecrated sacred water—teertham—and Prashad.

LIFETIME AARTI SEVA

Devotees can subscribe to the Lifetime Aarti Seva and become annual sponsors or beneficiaries of this Seva on a date of their choice, for their lifetime. Only 730 devotees can subscribe for this divine Seva at Adinath Sriguru Mahavatar Babaji Temple.

The subscribers/beneficiaries of the Aarti Seva can visit the temple on the chosen date every year, participate in the Seva and get Prashad that has been blessed by Sri M. Alternatively, they may choose to get their Prashad by courier (within India).

The Lifetime Aarti Seva subscription requires a one-time, non-transferable contribution of at least ₹1,00,000 (Rupees One Lakh) or more to the CORPUS fund of Adinath Sriguru Mahavatar Babaji Spiritual Trust.

Note:

1. The subscriber must be over the age of 18. The subscriber can either avail the Seva for oneself [for lifetime] or choose someone else as the lifetime beneficiary. However, the Seva will be performed only for the lifetime of the subscriber.
2. The date of Seva and beneficiary chosen at the time of subscribing cannot be changed.
3. The Prashad for the Lifetime Aarti Seva will not be given in the temple on the following days:
   • Maha Shivaratri and Guru Purnima.
   • The day before and the day after Maha Shivaratri and Guru Purnima.

   Should the dates chosen by the subscriber fall on the above festival days, the only available option will be to receive the Prashad at their postal address.
